About Me
Jemma Cotter is a creative and passionate filmmaker who has a hunger to tell stories about outsiders, weirdos, and anyone who doesn’t quite fit in.
With a special place in her heart for comedy, Jemma has directed short films, commercial content, comedy sketches, web series', and even wound up filming feminist erotica for a while.
After completing a Bachelor of Film and Television (Hons) from Swinburne University of Technology, she discovered a passion for online content and used it as an excuse to validate her YouTube addiction.

She completed a Screen Australia Director’s Attachment on the hit web series ‘Glennridge Secondary College’ created by comedy group Aunty Donna and directed two bonus sketches for the series.
She was a recipient of the Film Victoria and Stan Comedy Development fund along with her co-writers Annie Thiele, Eugénie Muggleton, and Rohan D'Souza to further develop their half-hour comedy series. She took part in Screen Australia and ABC TV's Fresh Blood 3 program with creator Annie Louey, directing and developing the short form series 'I'm So Sorry For Your Loss'.
